DESCRIPTION:The Arts Council of Central Louisiana is proud to present Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami!\n\nJoin the Arts Council of Central Louisiana for Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami on \nFriday\, September 9\, 2022  \nHailed by the New York Times as “…athletic\, energetic\, sexy”\, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami (founded by former Miami City Ballet starring couple Jennifer Kronenberg & Carlos Guerra)\, debuts at the Coughlin-Saunders PAC with an exciting  bouquet of audience favorites\, including Gerald Arpino’s emotional gospel gem “Touch Me”\, in honor of the 2022-23 Arpino Centennial Celebration\, bravura filled show-stopper\, “Adiemus” by Yanis Pikieris & David Palmer\, and a special performance of Maurice Causey’s “Shotgun” by close DDTM friends\, New Orleans Ballet Theatre. \nSince the company’s inception in 2016\, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami (DDTM) has been shaking up classical dance culture in South Florida and beyond.\nFounded by former Miami City Ballet leading principal couple\, Carlos Guerra and Jennifer Kronenberg\, DDTM debuted to rousing critical acclaim\, as a cutting edge\, yet classically based contemporary ballet company. In three short years\, DDTM has continued to earn national recognition thanks to a dazzling repertoire and dynamic world class dancers hailing from various Hispanic\, North and South American backgrounds.
